RIFT

A high-fidelity secure file transfer platform with a distinctive pixel-glass aesthetic inspired by Diablo. RIFT transforms mundane file sharing into an atmospheric experience — files become "Shards" traveling through dimensional "Rifts" to their recipients.

Design System

The visual language draws from action RPG interfaces: dithered gradients, squared UI elements with no border-radius, and the Geist Pixel font for headlines. Every interaction feels deliberate and powerful, from uploading files to tracking downloads.

Technical Stack

Built on Next.js 16 with Turbopack for lightning-fast development. Supabase powers authentication, database, and storage with chunked upload support. The UI combines Base UI components with custom Tailwind styling, enhanced by Framer Motion animations.

The interface speaks the language of action RPGs: "Channel a new Rift" to create a transfer, "Identify Item" to preview files, "Loot" for downloads. This distinctive vocabulary transforms a utility into an experience that resonates with the gaming community.
